Every Saturday, the WOMEN x AI community comes alive in a shared digital space of celebration, reflection, and connection. The April 5th edition of #WxAISocialSaturday was no exception—hosted by dynamic Co-Founders and Co-CEOs Jenny Kay Pollock and Reut Lazo, it spotlighted powerful female voices, highlighted game-changing AI tools, and centered self-care as an essential part of sustainable leadership in tech. About the Hosts

Jenny Kay Pollock and Reut Lazo are not just leaders in tech—they’re visionary co-founders who’ve built WOMEN x AI into a global community dedicated to uplifting and amplifying underrepresented voices in artificial intelligence. Their co-leadership model, recently praised in community threads, reflects their commitment to shared growth, innovation, and inclusion.

Reflections on Self-Care, Influence, and Innovation

As the conversation unfolded, members shared their go-to self-care rituals, the women who’ve inspired their journeys, and events that have left a lasting impact.

“This community seriously feels like therapy for me, such a grounding space.” — Reut Lazo

From hiking and acupuncture to skincare routines and reading, self-care emerged as a vital theme. The intentional act of rest and reflection is woven into the way these leaders show up in the AI space.

🌟 Shoutouts to Inspiring Women:

Miri Rodriguez was recognized for building Empressa AI, a platform creating AI that women can trust.

Tara Thompson was praised for her authenticity and leadership, with Summer Poletti sharing: “Tara radiates authenticity. A bright light in this space.”

Kemi Bolatito was highlighted for her inspiring presence and product—Scooly, which supports global movers navigating transitions with AI-powered tools.

“Jedidah K is such a talented and authentic speaker. I recorded a conversation with her and felt inspired the entire day.” — Summer Poletti

AI Events That Are Changing the Game

Demo Day at Convex was a major highlight, with founders presenting AI-powered tools designed to solve real-world problems. From children's books customized through AI to mental health platforms scaling support through automation, the event was a showcase of innovation.

“It was amazing to see what all of these women are building—products that solve real problems and use AI as a tool to do that.” — Jenny Kay Pollock

Upcoming events like TechWalk in Mountain View, AI User Conference in San Francisco and the Mesh Conference in Calgary promise more opportunities for connection and learning. These events go beyond networking—they’re moments of magic where founders, educators, and developers gather to share, build, and grow.

A Community Rooted in Support

This post wasn’t just a prompt for engagement—it was a celebration of shared purpose. One member summed it up beautifully:

“You are one-of-a-kind leaders, community builders, and changemakers who support everyone, no matter where they are in their journey.”— Ary Aranguiz, CPTD

Whether it’s through podcast interviews like Revenue Remix, where community voices are amplified, or local Chamber of Commerce meetings that bridge AI with small business, the WOMEN x AI community it is driving bold action around the world.
